Full Tilt Cocktail Competition Benefit

Press Releases / Full Tilt Cocktail Competition Benefits American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

Graton Resort & Casino hosted the inaugural “Full Tilt Cocktail Competition,” featuring teams from 10 of Sonoma County’s top cocktail experts who competed to win the top cocktail recipe. A portion of the ticket proceeds supported the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Out of The Darkness community walk and fundraiser on September 23 in Sonoma County.

The Full Tilt judges selected Matt Katzin from Sebastopol’s Fern Bar for his two cocktails, created in 10 minutes with secret ingredients for the “Iron Chef Style” portion of the competition. FernBar was also the People’s Choice winner for his cocktail recipe called “The Gallagher,” which was crafted in advance of the competition and voted on by the public. In addition to Fern Bar, competitors included 19Ten, Bird & The Bottle, Blue Ridge Kitchen, Graton Resort & Casino, Jackson’s, Lo & Behold, Molti Amici, The Matheson and Stark’s.

The competition was judged by Chelsea Pearl, a San Francisco and Sonoma County-based wine and travel content creator, vlogger and streamer, with content centered around Northern California, San Francisco Bay Area and Sonoma County wine country lifestyle; Jason D Seele, cocktail influencer and owner of Los Gatos Soda Works; and Scott Beattie, beverage director at Barndiva in Healdsburg.
