July 16 is National BBQ day and one of the Bay Area’s best known barbeque restaurants has a lot to celebrate this year. Fifty years ago, Dorothy Everett founded the first Everett & Jones BBQ restaurant in Oakland. Over the decades, the restaurant expanded to six locations throughout the Bay Area.
